Clive Brewer, one of the countries leading strength and conditioning coaches has been added to the 2010 IFAC line-up.

Clive Brewer MSc, BSc (Hons), ASCC, CSCSC is the Head of Human Performance with the Rugby Football League, with responsibility for Sports science, sports medicine and strength and conditioning. He is the IAAF strength and conditioning section editor, and formerly the first National strength and conditioning Coach for Scottish athletics. Previously the national lead for athlete development programmes in Scotland, Clive is an accredited strength and conditioning coach with the UK Strength & Conditioning Association (UKSCA) & NSCA (USA), as well as a registered Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the British Olympic Association (BOA). He is also accredited as an applied sports scientist with British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES). He was a Director of the UK Strength & Conditioning Association (UKSCA) for 6 years, and also the Chairperson of the interdisciplinary section of BASES. Clive has over 15 years of experience in working with elite & developmental performers from a number of different sports on both a team and individual level. He is also recognised as a leading coach educator in the field of strength and conditioning, having developed resources and workshops for a number of national and international organisations. An Internationally published author with over 20 papers in academic and coaching journals, Clive has written 2 books on training methods for sports and given keynote presentations at a number of international conferences.
