Kelvin B. Giles MA CertEd

Kelvin B. Giles Ma CertEd, is a performance consultant specialising in the ‘development to high performance continuum.’ Kelvin leads the company ‘Movement Dynamics’ which provides professional consultancy to sporting bodies on athletic performance strategies and the provision of best practice performance systems. Kelvin consults worldwide and his work is high regarded.

A former Great Britain National and Olympic coach, Kelvin has coached Olympians, World Champions and Commonwealth Games medallists. Off the track, he has also worked with the England FA, Scottish Rugby Union, the Lawn Tennis Association as well as the PGA.

The practical workshops hosted by Kelvin are founded upon giving athletes - both developing and performance - a large movement vocabulary in order for activities seen in the athletics to be better served. The workshops will cover the fundamental movements along with some example competence assessments and will put these into the context of an athletics-based lesson. The special workshop for schools will put Kelvin's work into a school context, allowing teachers and coaches to apply these within an athletics and sport curriculum.
